Now SRK promotes cheerleading

After promoting hockey through his hit film Chak De! India and joining the Indian Premier League (IPL) to encourage cricket in India, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is now popularising cheerleading as a sport.

The actor says he is doing so through his TV reality show Knights and Angels - that aims to find six cheerleaders who will cheer for Shah Rukh's Kolkata Knight Riders team at the IPL starting April 18.

"Knights and Angels is not a part of the strategy for my cricket team. It is an extension of my belief in spreading the awareness of sports in India. Cheerleading is a big sport in America and cheerleaders have their own fan following,” Shah Rukh said on the forthcoming episode of the show, to be aired on NDTV Imagine on Saturday.

During last year's IPL season, the American concept of cheerleaders at events was replicated here to add a dash of glamour and entertainment, but many felt it was vulgar and obscene and did not suit Indian sentiments.

To this, Shah Rukh said: “As the controversy hit our nation last year regarding this sport, I decided to add respectability to this profession (through my show). I think it can create great opportunities for the youth brigade.”

In an interview with MovieFone to her new album, Guilty Pleasure, the singer talked about the new edge to her music."I'm 23 years old, and this is where I am in my life right now. I'm not trying to run away from my fans. Hopefully, they're growing with me. But it's something that's obviously not like High School Musical. It's edgier."

Speaking of edgy: you won't find Tisdale club-hopping or staging photo ops for herself and boyfriend Jared Murillo. She's - gasp! - content to just hang out with friends.

"Me and my friends are different. We all like to chill at our house, watch movies and hang out or have parties at each others' houses. It's not like we have to go out somewhere and have paparazzi follow us to the clubs and stuff. I mean, they follow me doing things – like really weird stuff like going to Coffee Bean or doing errands."

Jade Goody changed my life, says Shilpa Shetty

Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has said that late Jade Goody changed her life forever. Goody was her housemate in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.

The actress was in South Africa to support Rajasthan Royals, which is co-owned by her. The Indian Premier League matches start in South Africa from April 18.

In 2007 Goody was slammed for racially abusing the Indian actress on the show, which finally helped her to gain sympathy votes to win the British reality show.

Recalling the controversy that made Shilpa a household name in Britain and Goody unpopular all over the world, the actress said, “Two years ago we were bickering and fighting on television, and now when I look back it all seems so futile because she’s not even there.

But the 33-year-old actress said she held no “grudges” against the British star, who died on March 22 after a seven-month long battle with cervical cancer.

Katrina Kaif walked the ramp dressed as Barbie doll

It seems that everything, which was related to or owned by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is coming to the lap of Katrina Kaif.
The recent news is a big proof of it.
Initially, there were reports that Ash will be the next Brabie doll, but when she rejected the offer because of her working
promises, the offer went to the sexy, hot, gorgeous, appealing, dashing Bollywood babe Katrina Kaif.
Now, she will endorse the Barbie doll in the country.
After getting the proposal, Sallu’s girlfriend said that she’s really happy.
As Barbie is celebrating its 50 years of success in India, “Mattel [the toymaker] proposed Ash to endorse the popular doll
but she refused the offer due to lack of time. Unable to rope in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the company approached Katrina Kaif
who is in no way less than Ash in terms of beauty and style and she is more than happy to get into the image of Barbie.”
An elated Katz said, “It is so much fun to endorse a Barbie doll. “Almost every girl has grown up playing with the doll and
so have I, so it feels great. My sisters would be really happy to know that I am endorsing this brand.”
That’s not all, Katz, at the on-going Lakme Fashion week, walked the ram wearing Barbie clothes made by renowned Indian
fashion designers.
She looked stupefying in almost all clothing.
Aishwarya refused the proposal to be immortalised as a Barbie doll owing to her busy schedule.
It was previously said that spokesperson of the actress were in talks with Barbie's maker Mattel, who decided to give the
well-known doll a Bollywood face. But the transaction did not take off.
Since 1994 when Ash became the Miss World, Mattel made many efforts to make a celebrity doll modelled on grogeous beauty.
But, she could never get time for their endeavour, due to her professional commitments, she said.

Salman Khan Again Slaps Katrina Kaif !!!

Bad Boy Salman Khan might run into another failure in his relationship. And if sources are to be believed Salman Khan has slapped Katrina kaif over a small tiff. Is Salman Khan behaving the same way he did with Aishwariya Rai? Is Possessiveness the issue or there is another side to this problem?

As per a Goa Local Newspaper, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar were shooting in Goa. Sallu Bhai feeling insecure about Kaif with Akki, bumped into the Shooting Sets and had tiff with Katrina.Probably Salman Khan has asked Katrina not to work with Akshay Kumar. But what Salman should know if that Katrina has given almost all her hits with Khiladi Number 1.

This isn’t the first time Salman has slapped Katrina. Few years back, a eye witness accounts to a Mumbai Local Newspaper that Kat and Sallu were sitting in a coffee shop. And suddenly Salman stood up and slapped Katrina. Though Katrina later refused to acknowledge that event!

What is ailing Salman in the relationship? It is said Salman is not happy with Katrina’s closeness with her co-stars. Recently he bumped into the sets of Rajneeti because of the rumours of closeness between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

Before that Salman was not happy with Katrina’s closeness with Akshay Kumar. So much was the fear that Katrina on a chat show said she is not a close friend with Akki! So is insecurity of loosing Katrina causing problems in relationship? Is it the age factor?

Salman earlier had similar in-security problems with Ash, the relationship that run for three years. Salman is said to have barged into sets of Aishwariya, reportedly verbally abused her in front of co-actors, which costed her films and also made her depressed.

Shahrukh Khan changing his IPL team name to get luck in favor !!!

It is being suspected that Shahrukh Khan has been discarding his IPL team captain because he was suggested by his numerologist that number 8 is not favorable for him and he should remove the name Kolkatta from his IPL team logo. Saurav Ganguly is a number 8 person and hence he had to be replaced by somebody who is luckier for Khan.

Many numerologists have been predicting that the number 8 is not only unlucky for Shahrukh but the number has been harming him and it was said that when Shahrukh entered his 44th year of life that summed to 8, he had to suffer the shoulder injury and he was kept out of action for the health issue.

His film “Billu” did not perform well on box office and the use of Black color in team jersey was also opposed by astrologists. The movie “Asoka” was also a number 8 film and all the creativity and presence of glamour couldn’t save the movie from performing badly on the box office.
Numerologists have been suggesting remedies to make the team Kolkatta Knight Riders come at an auspicious number that suits Shahrukh Khan. Most of the successful captains of Indian team are born in July first week, like Sunil Gavaskar and Dhoni and Saurav Ganguly is also born in the same week as the two other captains and that should make him ideal captain to a cricket team!
Shahrukh Khan was born on 2 Nov 1965 and many people on the earth might have born on the same date, then why all are not popular like Shahrukh Khan or why everybody born on same date are not facing similar life situations.

Although there have been many numerologist predictions in the past but the credibility of the predictions is not clear as numerology takes the birth date of a person and many people on this earth are born on same day.
